Base Salary
$163k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary US technical anchor and local representative for the Platform Engineering group.
- Help build an agentic, AI-based software development life cycle supporting software design, coding, testing, and deployment.
- Apply software development expertise to platform engineering and infrastructure.
- Architect and own the company’s cloud-only infrastructure, treating the platform as a product.
- Work across cloud and applicative infrastructure using advanced technologies and cloud services.
- Identify developer-experience friction points and execute projects that improve R&D workflows.
- Partner with business stakeholders to ensure the platform supports innovation and business value.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience as a software developer in a fast-paced, cloud-oriented organization.
- B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Proven record of initiating, designing, implementing, and leading meaningful projects.
- Solid experience with at least one of Java, Kotlin, JavaScript, TypeScript, Bash, or Python.
- Experience improving development processes and developer experience.
- Strong problem-solving, adaptability, accessibility, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-driven curiosity and willingness to research and master AI technologies.
- Hands-on experience with Jenkins pipelines is a major advantage.
- Cloud and Infrastructure-as-Code experience is a major advantage.
- Understanding of Kubernetes and containers is a major advantage.
- Knowledge of build tools such as Maven, Gradle, npm, or nx is an advantage.
- Familiarity with software testing methodologies and tools is an advantage.
- Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and tracing tools is a major advantage.
- Experience with internal developer portals, platforms, and self-service tools such as Backstage is a major advantage.
