Base Salary
$135k - $159k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design architectural solutions and recommendations aligned with customer business, security, operational, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead complex customer opportunities, strategic initiatives, technical workshops, executive briefings, architecture reviews, and presentations.
- Drive adoption of emerging technologies and lead Early Availability and Proof of Concept programs.
- Partner with sales teams to identify, qualify, and advance opportunities through the sales cycle.
- Manage technical escalations and support large-scale customer security transformation projects.
- Advise customers on public-sector, telecommunications, critical infrastructure, compliance, cloud, network, application, data center, and hybrid security challenges.
- Provide customer feedback to product management and engineering teams and mentor sales engineers and other technical personnel.
- Support closure of at least 15 strategic customer projects valued at $500,000 or greater annually and represent the company at industry and partner events.
Requirements
- 10+ years of engineering, cybersecurity, architecture, or pre-sales experience in enterprise, public-sector, telecommunications, or large-scale commercial environments.
- Proven ability to architect and position complex cybersecurity solutions for large and highly regulated organizations.
- Extensive knowledge of enterprise networking, routing, switching, security architectures, and hybrid IT environments.
- Experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
- Understanding of virtualization, containers, cloud-native architectures, and modern application environments.
- Experience managing complex customer engagements involving multiple stakeholders and project teams.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical architectures and measurable customer outcomes.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
- Preferred qualifications include Check Point technologies and certifications, CISSP, CCNP, CCIE, AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, public-sector and telecommunications experience, government security frameworks, 4G/LTE and 5G architectures, GTP, NFV, SaaS, SASE, Zero Trust, AI security, cloud security, and security operations experience.
