Base Salary
$135k - $159k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design architectural solutions and recommendations aligned with customer business, security, operational, and regulatory requirements.
- Serve as technical lead for complex customer opportunities and strategic initiatives across assigned industry verticals.
- Drive adoption of emerging technologies and lead Early Availability and Proof of Concept programs.
- Partner with sales teams to identify, qualify, and advance opportunities through the sales cycle.
- Manage technical escalations for major customer projects with Solutions Center, Professional Services, Product Management, and Support.
- Lead technical workshops, executive briefings, architecture reviews, and customer presentations.
- Support cloud, network, application, data center, and hybrid security transformation initiatives.
- Advise customers on government compliance, critical infrastructure protection, and telecommunications security architectures.
- Support closure of at least 15 strategic customer projects valued at $500,000 or greater annually.
- Provide customer and competitive feedback to product management and engineering teams.
- Mentor sales engineers and other technical personnel.
- Represent the company at industry events, customer forums, conferences, and partner engagements.
Requirements
- 10+ years of engineering, cybersecurity, architecture, or pre-sales experience in enterprise, public sector, telecommunications, or large-scale commercial environments.
- Proven ability to architect and position complex cybersecurity solutions for large, highly regulated organizations.
- Extensive knowledge of enterprise networking, routing, switching, security architectures, and hybrid IT environments.
- Experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong understanding of virtualization, containers, cloud-native architectures, and modern application environments.
- Experience managing complex customer engagements with multiple stakeholders and project teams.
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical architectures and measurable customer outcomes.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
- Preferred qualifications include Check Point technologies and certifications, CISSP, CCNP, CCIE, AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, public sector or telecommunications experience, and knowledge of FedRAMP, NIST, FISMA, CJIS, CMMC, Zero Trust, 4G/LTE, 5G, GTP, NFV, SaaS, SASE, AI security, cloud security, and security operations.
Benefits
- Base wage range is $135,427-$159,326 annually, with eligibility for additional compensation including sales incentive; compensation figures are excluded from benefit details.

- The role is based in Irving, Texas, and requires travel of up to 50% depending on customer and business requirements.
