Responsibilities
- Enable DAZN teams to build, run, and own reliable services through end-to-end observability and good practices.
- Use machine learning to pre-scale AWS workloads and perform performance testing with K6 Cloud.
- Manage error budgets and SLOs using Victoria Metrics, Grafana, and statsd.
- Gather centralized logs through Kinesis and assemble observability data in New Relic with PagerDuty alerting.
- Write and deploy code using Golang, React, GitHub Actions, Node.js, AAD, and HMAC-secured APIs.
- Improve reliability goals, teach engineering teams, share lessons from operations and post-incident reviews, and provide on-call support.
Requirements
- Experience improving the reliability of critical services and helping teams achieve reliability goals.
- Strong adaptability and readiness to provide on-call support.
- Ability to teach others, share learning, contribute to post-incident reviews, and help grow engineering capability.
- Ability to write code in Golang and React and work with the listed observability, deployment, API, and security technologies.
