Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, install, and support application systems and programs.
- Analyze applications to identify vulnerabilities and security issues, and perform testing and debugging.
- Use Java, Spring Boot, PL/SQL, database design, and optimization skills to implement programming solutions.
- Consult with users, clients, and technology groups and recommend solutions to application issues.
- Identify problems, evaluate information, and implement solutions with limited direct supervision.
- Advise or coach new and lower-level analysts and serve as a subject-matter expert to stakeholders and team members.
- Assess and escalate risks while complying with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of relevant experience in the financial-services industry.
- Strong programming skills in Java, Spring Boot 3.0, PL/SQL, Oracle 19c, database design, and database optimization.
- Intermediate-level experience in an applications-development role.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Good problem-solving, decision-making, communication, ownership, learning, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or changing requirements.
- Angular 14+ and JavaScript experience are preferred.
