Responsibilities
- Lead Power Platform architecture and consulting projects from technical definition through implementation and support.
- Customize, develop, integrate, and extend Power Apps, custom Copilot, and Power Platform solutions.
- Design secure data models using Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL, and other data sources.
- Lead workshops and discovery sessions as the technical subject-matter expert.
- Provide hands-on implementation services and architect cost-competitive enterprise solutions.
- Coach, mentor, and encourage onshore and offshore technical team members.
- Own the overall quality of engagements and support continuous improvement.
- Identify and grow strategic account opportunities in partnership with Avanade’s business development team.
- Create technical collateral and communicate complex solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Keep current with market trends, competitive insights, and required Power Platform certifications.
Requirements
- Experienced technology architect with strong business acumen and prior consulting and technical architecture experience.
- Experience with cloud-first infrastructure and software architecture, including ETL and migration design, planning, and execution.
- Hands-on experience developing and integrating Power Apps, including canvas and model-driven apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and SharePoint.
- Strong working knowledge of custom Copilot, Power BI, Power Pages, Teams, Viva, SQL, dataflows, Azure Functions, and App Insights.
- Familiarity with custom connectors, PCF controls, and SPFx.
- Familiarity with Center of Excellence, Power Platform ALM framework, and Dataverse environment strategy is preferred.
- Ability to communicate and present complex information to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal, mentoring, training, verbal communication, and written communication skills in English.

- Candidates may work remotely or from one of Avanade’s regional offices anywhere in Canada.
- Base pay for the British Columbia/Ontario role is listed at 131,000–156,000 CAD.
