Responsibilities
- Invent signals to improve search personalization.
- Train models that capture interactions between ranking signals.
- Design methods for adapting language models to each customer’s corpus.
- Combine LLMs with search engines to answer complex questions.
- Write robust, readable, maintainable, and testable code.
- Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with experienced engineers.
- Interact with customers to understand and solve their pain points.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience.
- BA/BS in computer science, mathematics, sciences, or a related field.
- Experience with search, recommendation systems, natural language processing, or other large systems involving machine learning.
- Strong analytical and data skills.
- Proven ability to design, build, and ship production-ready models.
- Proficiency in an ML framework.
- Strong coding skills in languages such as Python, Go, Java, or C++.
- Ability to work effectively in a customer-focused, cross-functional environment and take ownership of tasks and features.
