Responsibilities
- Design and maintain team-wide CI/CD pipelines with automated testing gates, artifact management, and GPU-cluster-aligned deployments.
- Implement repeatable releases, GitOps workflows, automated rollback, and change management procedures.
- Build test infrastructure for environment provisioning, data seeding, and validation of distributed training and multi-node jobs.
- Establish repository organization, pull request templates, code quality gates, dependency scanning, and static analysis standards.
- Partner with infrastructure teams to ensure AI product deployments meet compliance and security standards.
- Debug Kubernetes rollout and deployment issues and convert operational learnings into automated gates and runbooks.
- Mentor engineers on testing strategies, deployment safety, and incident response procedures.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of experience in CI/CD engineering, release engineering, or DevOps.
- Deep expertise with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, ArgoCD, or Jenkins, including multi-stage pipelines and testing gates.
- Strong automation scripting skills in Python, Go, or Bash.
- Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes workloads, Pod lifecycle and failure modes, Deployments, ReplicaSets, Jobs, CronJobs, Services, and Ingress.
- Practical experience operating ConfigMaps and Secrets, including secret rotation, least privilege, auditability, and credential-leak prevention.
- Experience implementing rolling, canary, and blue/green rollouts, readiness/liveness/startup probes, PodDisruptionBudgets, and rollback procedures.
- Ability to debug Kubernetes rollout issues involving probes, resource limits, image pulls, configuration drift, and node pressure or evictions.
- Familiarity with artifact management, versioning strategies, rollback procedures, and integrating unit, integration, and end-to-end testing frameworks into CI pipelines.
