Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate features and services within the cloud-native platform from implementation through production.
- Break features into executable tasks, deliver iteratively, and raise risks and trade-offs.
- Build automation, tooling, and platform services used by other teams.
- Improve reliability, scalability, operability, tests, instrumentation, and runbooks while participating in on-call rotations.
- Collaborate with staff and senior engineers on designs and platform standards.
- Support junior engineers through code review, pairing, and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software development experience with a bachelor’s degree, 3+ years with a master’s degree, a PhD without experience, or equivalent work experience.
- Hands-on experience building production software and deploying and operating workloads on Kubernetes.
- Experience with at least one major hyperscaler—AWS, Azure, or GCP—and its core compute and networking primitives.
- Programming skills in Go or another systems language with willingness to work primarily in Go.
- Experience delivering features as a productive engineering team member.
- Working knowledge of containers, CI/CD pipelines, and Git-based development workflows.
- Preferred qualifications include managed Kubernetes experience with EKS, AKS, or GKE; GitOps and Terraform familiarity; observability tooling exposure; DNS, TLS, and IAM fundamentals; and on-call experience.
- Experience integrating AI into engineering work or using AI-powered coding and operational tooling.
