Responsibilities
- Design and evolve end-to-end SDLC processes with integrated security, compliance, and operational controls.
- Define governance requirements, automation boundaries, and responsibility models across development, operations, and security teams.
- Partner with and mentor development teams on reliability, deployment safety, and operational ownership.
- Architect and maintain standardized CI/CD platforms, pipelines, and environments while reducing manual operational work.
- Own Terraform Infrastructure as Code and design reliable, scalable, and cost-aware Azure and AWS cloud architectures.
- Support containerized and Kubernetes-based platforms and maintain parity across development, staging, and production environments.
- Define and implement SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, monitoring, logging, and tracing practices.
- Lead incident response, postmortems, and systemic reliability improvements.
- Document architectural decisions and facilitate cross-team discussions and process improvements.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, platform engineering, or infrastructure roles.
- Proven experience designing engineering processes and providing architectural leadership.
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure, including Azure DevOps.
- Deep understanding of CI/CD architecture and solid experience with Terraform Infrastructure as Code.
- Production experience with containers and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell automation and scripting.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and incident management practices.
- Ability to explain complex technical and security topics clearly and constructively.
- Experience in regulated or compliance-heavy environments is preferred.
- Experience introducing or evolving DevOps or SRE practices in organizations with existing silos is preferred.
- Cloud or DevOps certifications, microservices and API-based systems experience, database knowledge across SQL and NoSQL systems, and mentoring or informal technical leadership experience are preferred.
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher is required.
