Base Salary
$120k - $140k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, configuration, testing, optimization, and delivery of Pega applications using Pega best practices, design patterns, coding standards, and performance-tuning techniques.
- Architect and implement Pega class structures, case types, healthcare claims workflows, user interfaces, integrations, and reusable components.
- Apply healthcare domain expertise to deliver solutions aligned with healthcare operations and claims-processing requirements.
- Analyze and resolve complex application issues through troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
- Conduct technical reviews, monitor application quality and performance, mitigate technical risks, and ensure compliance with Pega guardrails and development standards.
- Collaborate with Agile/SAFe and distributed cross-functional teams while communicating technical concepts to business and technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- Pega Lead System Architect (LSA) certification and proven technical leadership across large-scale Pega implementations.
- Experience designing, developing, testing, and deploying secure, scalable, high-performance Pega applications, including class structures, case management workflows, UI models, and reusable frameworks.
- Strong expertise integrating Pega applications with enterprise platforms using REST APIs and other modern integration technologies.
- Experience with healthcare claims processing and stakeholder engagement in Agile/SAFe environments.
- Required knowledge of healthcare standards and transactions including HIPAA, EDI, 835, and 837.
- Preferred certifications include Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) and Pega Certified System Architect (CSA).
- Preferred experience includes Pega Smart Claims Engine, healthcare payer environments, and Facets-based implementations.
