Base Salary
$275k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and ship full-stack products across the insurance lifecycle using React, React Native, TypeScript, Python, Postgres, and modern AI infrastructure.
- Build AI-native underwriting systems that synthesize risk, structure messy data, and assist decision-making.
- Create claims tooling to automate review, coordination, and document-processing workflows.
- Develop internal operational platforms for teams managing premiums and healthcare spending.
- Build member-facing products combining conversational AI, navigation, and real-time healthcare workflows.
- Design retrieval, memory, and evaluation systems that improve reliability and operational performance.
- Work directly with operational teams to identify bottlenecks and eliminate manual work.
- Own projects end-to-end across product architecture, backend systems, frontend experiences, AI integration, and production deployment.
- Build shared platforms, infrastructure, and workflows that reshape how multiple company functions operate together.
Requirements
- Deep experience designing and scaling complex software systems.
- Exceptional judgment across product, engineering, and operational tradeoffs.
- Track record of leading highly ambiguous, cross-functional initiatives.
- Strong intuition for where AI can fundamentally change workflows and business operations.
- Ability to simplify complex organizational problems into scalable systems.
- Experience in regulated industries such as healthcare or fintech is preferred.
- Strong sense of design and attention to UI detail is preferred.
