Responsibilities
- Build and enhance Salesforce functionality using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and declarative configuration.
- Implement user stories and requirements in accordance with architectural guidance and coding standards.
- Customize Salesforce objects, fields, page layouts, record types, flows, validation rules, profiles, and permission sets.
- Develop integrations with upstream and downstream systems using Salesforce APIs and integration patterns.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, release deployments, sprint ceremonies, and Agile delivery activities.
- Collaborate with the Salesforce Architect, business analysts, product managers, end users, and QA teams.
- Support Salesforce users through troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, defect resolution, and daily operational support.
- Maintain technical designs and configuration inventories while helping ensure Salesforce data accuracy, performance, and security.
- Stay current with Salesforce platform updates, Flow automation, Lightning Web Components, and platform AI capabilities.
Requirements
- 6–8 years of Salesforce development or configuration experience, including professional or project-based experience.
- Bachelor's degree required; an advanced degree is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with Apex classes, triggers, SOQL, SOSL, Lightning Web Components, and Flow Builder.
- Familiarity with Salesforce core clouds, including Sales Cloud and Service Cloud, as well as Salesforce Platform capabilities.
- Understanding of the Salesforce data model and fundamental CRM concepts.
- Ability to translate functional requirements into technical deliverables.
- Strong communication, collaboration, curiosity, and initiative.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I, Administrator, or App Builder certifications are helpful, or candidates should demonstrate commitment to obtaining them.
- Financial services or asset management experience, Agile/Scrum experience, integration or middleware experience, and familiarity with Lightning Experience customization are preferred.
- Experience with DevOps tools such as Git, Azure DevOps, or Copado is preferred.
