Responsibilities
- Design and implement solutions for observability modules using Golang, JavaScript, and Python.
- Deliver features and improvements independently throughout the development lifecycle.
- Write clean, testable, and maintainable code as per engineering objectives.
- Set milestones for tasks and prioritize work to meet release schedules.
- Identify risks and communicate progress at critical checkpoints.
- Apply and advance technical standards in data pipeline development.
- Participate in design and code reviews to improve quality.
- Engage across organizational boundaries to provide technical solutions.
- Contribute to improving test coverage and participate in on-call rotations.
Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant software development experience with a BS in Computer Science or related field.
- Ability to independently solve technically difficult problems end-to-end.
- Proficiency in Golang and/or Python.
- Experience with microservice-based architectures.
- Strong knowledge of data pipeline development and ETL best practices.
- Excellent software engineering fundamentals.
- Strong communication skills for technical discussions.
- Collaborative team player in startup-style environments.
