Responsibilities
- Select, implement, design, and build services and tools for security intelligence management.
- Identify, triage, and provide remediation guidance for application vulnerabilities.
- Improve developer tooling and adoption for a robust SSDLC integrating security features.
- Assist other teams in making informed, security-conscious decisions.
- Support incident response teams with application security expertise.
- Build threat models for Toast applications and use cases.
- Guide the design and maintenance of resilient network and application architecture.
- Collaborate to enhance information gathering and sharing across products.
- Leverage AI tools to improve development workflows and productivity.
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in application security and security engineering.
- Experience building and maintaining scaled Java web services in production.
- Proficiency in developing Python applications for scheduling and data handling.
- Experience with LLM AI features for software development or security operations.
- Strong understanding of cloud application architecture.
- History of guiding colleagues toward better security outcomes.
- Previous security experience with fintech applications.
- Strong understanding of privacy, security, and cryptography patterns.
