Base Salary
$210k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and operate the AWS GovCloud environment for federal customers.
- Design and implement infrastructure-as-code for customer environments.
- Manage the container image pipeline for government deployments.
- Identify and address availability risks and monitoring gaps.
- Collaborate with assessment partners for FedRAMP authorization documentation.
- Enable product engineers to develop features across commercial and government environments.
- Define compliance boundaries for engineering operations.
- Support self-hosted federal customers with escalations and on-call responsibilities.
Requirements
- 5+ years in infrastructure, DevOps, or cloud engineering roles with AWS experience.
- Hands-on experience with VPC architectures and AWS services in production.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like CDK or Terraform.
- Familiarity with compliance regulations such as FedRAMP or FISMA.
- Knowledge of container image pipelines and hardening practices.
- Ability to balance compliance restrictions with engineering usability.
- Strong writing skills for technical documentation and compliance evidence.
- Willingness to learn new technologies across the tech stack.
