Responsibilities
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business stakeholders to clarify requirements, assess risks, and ensure feature testability.
- Design, implement, and execute functional tests for web applications and validate frontend interactions with other systems and API integrations.
- Build and maintain automated tests using Cypress and other modern automation tools.
- Use AI tools and prompt engineering to generate test cases, analyze UI and API failures, improve exploratory testing, increase coverage, and generate test data.
- Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and technical discussions to strengthen product quality.
- Communicate testing progress, risks, and status to stakeholders.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and standards.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software testing, ideally involving web and API testing.
- Experience understanding complex business domains and identifying business and test use cases.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in Agile environments.
- Proficiency in JavaScript-based automation using tools such as Cypress and Playwright.
- Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman and backend validation techniques.
- Exposure to AI-assisted testing tools such as Cursor AI and GitHub Copilot is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Proactive communication and effective collaboration with distributed teams.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.
