Responsibilities
- Design, develop, modernize, and support internal business applications using Microsoft Azure and full-stack engineering practices.
- Own solution architecture, data flow, integrations, security considerations, deployment, and long-term supportability from concept through production.
- Build React and TypeScript/JavaScript front ends, back-end services, REST APIs, serverless functions, integrations, and cloud-native application components.
- Evaluate and harden prototypes, citizen-developed tools, low-code solutions, and fusion development applications into scalable enterprise systems.
- Provide technical leadership, code reviews, architecture guidance, mentoring, documentation, and knowledge transfer.
- Establish coding standards, branching strategies, pull request expectations, quality controls, GitHub governance, and release practices.
- Integrate applications with ERP, CRM, databases, authentication platforms, reporting tools, document processing services, and internal or external APIs.
- Apply secure coding, identity, access control, privacy, data protection, and governance practices.
- Use Git, CI/CD pipelines, work item tracking, release management, Azure Monitor, Application Insights, dashboards, alerts, and runbooks for controlled delivery and support.
- Evaluate and apply AI/ML-enabled capabilities including prompt engineering, LLM integrations, document processing, classification, summarization, and AI-assisted development workflows.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional software development experience delivering and supporting production applications.
- At least 2 years of experience building cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure or comparable cloud platforms.
- Experience with React, TypeScript/JavaScript, REST APIs, cloud-native back-end services, scalable application architecture, and enterprise integrations.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals including clean code, modular design, error handling, logging, testing, maintainability, and performance.
- Experience with Git-based source control, branching, merging, pull requests, code reviews, and release coordination.
- Experience with CI/CD concepts and tools such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
- Experience with AI/ML-enabled application patterns such as prompt engineering, LLM integration, document processing, semantic search, classification, summarization, or AI-assisted software development.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, developers, technical partners, leadership, and cross-functional teams.
- Preferred experience with .NET/C#, Python, Azure AI services, Azure OpenAI, document intelligence, cognitive services, application security, identity platforms, role-based access control, secrets management, GitHub administration, and fusion development models.
- Preferred experience leading internal tools, business applications, workflow applications, automation platforms, enterprise operational systems, or modernization of lightly governed internal applications.
