Responsibilities
- Lead strategy and development across multiple products, applications, and technologies.
- Create production code solutions and reusable software frameworks adopted across teams.
- Architect and govern agentic AI-enabled engineering workflows, including AI-assisted code review, test generation, release readiness, incident triage, and root-cause analysis.
- Define standards and guardrails for validation, security, resiliency, auditability, traceability, and reuse.
- Build and operate 24x7 tier-1 online services.
- Influence business, product, and technology teams and communicate complex technical topics to senior leadership.
- Serve as the function’s subject matter expert and drive adoption of technical methods at scale.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and advanced applied experience.
- Practical experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Proficiency in one or more of Rust, Java, Go, or C++.
- Experience designing and leading adoption of agentic AI-enabled development practices with human-in-the-loop validation, auditability, traceability, and secure handling of sensitive data.
- Strong understanding of responsible AI, security, resiliency, data sensitivity, and risk-based governance in engineering workflows.
- A proven track record building and operating 24x7 tier-1 online services.
- Experience influencing across functions and teams and delivering value at scale.
- Experience solving complex technology problems across multiple technical disciplines.
- Extensive practical cloud-native experience.
- Expertise in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- Preferred familiarity with open-source OLAP and data-stack projects, including Apache DataFusion, DuckDB, and Apache Arrow Flight SQL.
