Responsibilities
- Collaborate with GTM leadership and account teams to design and execute engagement strategies across an assigned territory.
- Partner with Account Executives to develop account strategies, presentations, demonstrations, and other customer-facing assets.
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor and product champion to build credibility and drive Lakebase adoption.
- Enable customers through workshops, technical collateral, and thought leadership.
- Translate field-derived, data-driven insights into strategic recommendations for Product and Engineering teams.
- Act as the tier-3 escalation point for complex technical challenges in mission-critical customer environments.
- Support customers adopting and expanding transactional database solutions.
Requirements
- 10+ years of transactional database (OLTP) expertise across engineering, product development, administration, and pre-sales, including client-facing solution delivery.
- 6+ years of customer-facing, pre-sales, or consulting experience influencing technical executives and driving data strategy and product adoption.
- Experience architecting transactional data solutions within broader big data, lakehouse, and AI ecosystems.
- Infrastructure, platform, and administration expertise covering disaster recovery, high availability, backup and recovery, scale-out methods, identity and security management, and data migrations.
- Experience influencing OLTP product roadmaps through market insight.
- Proficiency in programming, debugging, and problem-solving with SQL and Python.
- Hands-on experience building solutions in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Broad experience in at least two areas including data engineering, data warehousing, AI, ML, governance, transactional systems, application development, and streaming.
- Undergraduate degree or higher in a technical field such as Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or a similar discipline.
- Experience driving complex projects to completion in fast-paced, customer-facing environments.
- Experience collaborating with Global System Integrators and third-party consulting organizations is required.
