Responsibilities
- Assess customer DevOps cultures, processes, tools, and technologies and identify improvement opportunities.
- Develop recommendations, specifications, milestones, and execution plans for organizational and technical improvements.
- Lead build, release, engineering, and software delivery initiatives across departments.
- Maintain infrastructure and software supporting effective continuous delivery.
- Help teams create and demonstrate proposed technical solutions.
- Mentor and train developers and engineers and promote continuous process improvement.
- Work with product and program management to monitor and demonstrate progress.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a DevOps-focused role involving software development, systems engineering, and leadership.
- Experience assessing DevOps organizations, recommending improvements, and leading or managing software developers and systems engineers.
- Experience with Azure, AWS, GCP, on-premises environments, and large-scale systems.
- Experience with Terraform, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, Istio, Prometheus, and GitHub.
- Experience developing, deploying, releasing, and supporting large-scale systems.
- Experience with system security practices, business analysis, software and systems engineering, operating systems, team building, and software delivery organizations.
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience facilitating cross-departmental strategy execution and collaboration.
