Base Salary

$220k - $250k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop scalable and robust software aligned with the Crusoe Cloud roadmap.
  • Write and review code and contribute to proposals and architecture documents.
  • Evaluate tools and frameworks for reliability, scalability, operational cost, and ease of adoption.
  • Advance managed Kubernetes and AI training clusters for industry-leading reliability and performance.
  • Collaborate with tech leads and engineers to develop cloud solutions.
  • Stay current with cloud software trends and techniques and incorporate relevant improvements.
  • Provide technical guidance and knowledge-sharing to peers without formal management responsibilities.
  • Lead critical networking, quality-control, and automation projects with broad impact.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of software engineering experience with strong systems engineering experience.
  • 2+ years of programming experience in GoLang.
  • Experience with Kubernetes and Linux engineering and debugging.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code and systems-level challenges.
  • Experience with Terraform and GCP preferred.
  • Understanding of Argo, CI/CD, and automated testing pipelines.
  • Ability to build and manage Kubernetes operators and controllers.
  • Ability to develop scalable systems comparable to Google Kubernetes Engine and Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service.
  • Ability to lead broad-impact initiatives involving networking, quality control, and automation.
  • Ability to design system architecture, own CI/CD pipelines, and ensure adherence to security standards.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
