Base Salary
$220k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop scalable and robust software aligned with the Crusoe Cloud roadmap.
- Write and review code and contribute to proposals and architecture documents.
- Evaluate tools and frameworks for reliability, scalability, operational cost, and ease of adoption.
- Advance managed Kubernetes and AI training clusters for industry-leading reliability and performance.
- Collaborate with tech leads and engineers to develop cloud solutions.
- Stay current with cloud software trends and techniques and incorporate relevant improvements.
- Provide technical guidance and knowledge-sharing to peers without formal management responsibilities.
- Lead critical networking, quality-control, and automation projects with broad impact.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience with strong systems engineering experience.
- 2+ years of programming experience in GoLang.
- Experience with Kubernetes and Linux engineering and debugging.
- Experience with infrastructure as code and systems-level challenges.
- Experience with Terraform and GCP preferred.
- Understanding of Argo, CI/CD, and automated testing pipelines.
- Ability to build and manage Kubernetes operators and controllers.
- Ability to develop scalable systems comparable to Google Kubernetes Engine and Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service.
- Ability to lead broad-impact initiatives involving networking, quality control, and automation.
- Ability to design system architecture, own CI/CD pipelines, and ensure adherence to security standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
