Base Salary
$172k - $229k/yr
Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical anchor for a high-performing team of data and infrastructure engineers.
- Influence the technical roadmap and architectural priorities in alignment with engineering objectives.
- Provide technical guidance and establish rigorous engineering standards for the team.
- Define and execute the technical vision for storing metrics and generating ML datasets.
- Identify and prototype cutting-edge technologies for data processing and querying.
- Act as a hands-on contributor for complex architectural challenges.
- Collaborate with ML research and data engineering teams to co-design scalable architectures.
- Drive technical consensus and communicate architectural concepts to stakeholders.
Requirements
- BS or MS in Computer Science or related field.
- 6+ years of professional experience in data platform engineering.
- 3+ years in a technical lead or senior architecture role with a track record of mentoring.
- Extensive experience with large-scale data platforms and workflow orchestration frameworks.
- Strong programming skills in Python; C++ experience is a plus.
- Proven experience with agentic workflows and multi-agent systems.
- Knowledge of modern data storage formats and vector databases.
- Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure solutions and scalable model serving.
- Prior experience in building data warehouses or lakehouse architectures.
