Base Salary
$130k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and own full-stack features through production and ongoing maintenance.
- Build and modify PHP applications, integrate internal and external APIs, and support scale and new technologies.
- Design relational database schemas, write and optimize complex SQL queries, and develop backend algorithms.
- Use JavaScript, CSS, Bootstrap, jQuery, HTML5, and related technologies to build responsive web functionality.
- Profile and optimize new and legacy code while maintaining secure, readable, scalable code.
- Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams and mentor junior developers.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of web development experience solving challenging problems and implementing features from scratch.
- At least 3 years of SQL experience, including relational database schema design and complex queries.
- Demonstrated full-stack projects, including a major project with frontend code, backend code, and a database.
- Ability to design, develop, and launch a web application from start to finish.
- Deep understanding of web development concepts, web and SQL security best practices, and framework-independent development.
- Experience using Git in a team environment and ability to learn new skills independently.
- Must be able to legally work in the United States.
- Startup work or internship experience and familiarity with the LAMP or LEMP stack are helpful but not required.
