Responsibilities

  • Design and lead implementation of a unified enterprise integration layer supporting canonical domains, source-system extensions, and cross-vertical connectivity.
  • Define architecture standards, principles, API governance, security practices, observability requirements, documentation, and lifecycle management.
  • Design scalable, secure, highly available API ecosystems and integration solutions across internal applications, ERP, SaaS platforms, enterprise systems, and external partners.
  • Lead architecture reviews, provide hands-on technical guidance, and mentor architects, technical leads, and engineering teams.
  • Design and implement event-driven and message-based architectures using Azure Service Bus, Event Hubs, and related technologies.
  • Facilitate domain discovery and event storming workshops with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Drive AI-assisted engineering adoption, modernization, technical-debt reduction, TDD, Clean Architecture, SOLID principles, and automated quality practices.
  • Partner with platform teams on CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and developer experience.
  • Advise on strategic technology investments and modernization initiatives while driving outcomes autonomously.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of software engineering experience.
  • 5+ years in architecture, principal engineer, staff engineer, or technical leadership roles with active, current hands-on coding.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale integration platforms and distributed systems.
  • Deep expertise in Domain-Driven Design, event-driven architecture, API governance, modern .NET patterns, async pipelines, cloud-native architecture, and microservices.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise messaging platforms such as Azure Service Bus, Event Hubs, RabbitMQ, Solace, Apache Kafka, or AWS SQS.
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs, OpenAPI Specifications, OAuth2, OIDC, API security, identity management, and observability practices.
  • Experience with CQRS, Event Sourcing, Saga Patterns, distributed transaction management, and OpenTelemetry.
  • Daily hands-on use of AI tools such as Copilot, RAG-based tools, or agentic coding assistants.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field is desired, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Advanced English fluency for direct collaboration with US-based teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong communication, ownership, accountability, and stakeholder-influence skills.
