Responsibilities
- Develop and engineer front-end solutions for enterprise applications using modern technologies and software design patterns.
- Write code and collaborate with an Agile software delivery team to achieve sprint goals.
- Apply software development lifecycle practices, unit testing, automation, design patterns, and peer review.
- Partner with stakeholders, UX, QA, and other engineering specialists to deliver digital products.
- Resolve technical issues and develop subject matter expertise in the relevant business area.
- Provide technical thought leadership and coach or develop junior team members.
- Contribute to technical standards, team practices, and alignment with the broader technical strategy.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience as a software engineer or developer using Angular or React.
- Multiple years of experience with front-end build tools such as npm, yarn, or gulp.
- Multiple years of experience with front-end testing strategies and frameworks such as Jasmine, Karma, or Selenium.
- Multiple years of experience with software engineering best practices, including unit testing, automation, design patterns, and peer review.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or computer engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- Preferred experience includes REST and GraphQL, scalable and highly available applications, cloud infrastructure, containers, orchestration, API management, event-driven architecture, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, observability, security, monitoring, and database concepts.
