Base Salary
$151k - $189k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and iterate on machine learning models and features for lifecycle optimization, notifications, and monetization with guidance from senior engineers.
- Partner with senior engineers, data scientists, and product managers to improve product features and user experience.
- Contribute to model development, experimentation, production deployment, and responsible AI practices involving explainability, fairness, and quality.
- Work with embedding-based retrieval, Graph Neural Networks, multi-stage rankers, and large-scale data infrastructure.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- Three years of experience in machine learning, data science, or a related area.
- Proficiency in Python and hands-on experience with scikit-learn, PyTorch, or TensorFlow.
- Strong foundation in classification, regression, ranking, and model evaluation.
- A master’s degree or current pursuit of an advanced degree is preferred.
- Preferred exposure includes recommendations, personalization, NLP, deep learning, LLMs, or explainable AI.
- Preferred familiarity includes experiment tracking, model monitoring, feature pipelines, and cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills are preferred.
