Deloitte AdvisoryResponsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-scale CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitLab, Jenkins, and associated tools.
- Manage source code repositories, branching strategies, versioning, software configuration management, and release governance.
- Automate build, testing, packaging, deployment, and software release activities.
- Package and publish artifacts using NuGet, npm, and Conan.
- Develop and optimize build scripts, build agents, deployment workflows, and release pipelines.
- Migrate legacy SCM and build environments to modern DevOps platforms.
- Configure static code analysis tools and quality enforcement processes.
- Support maintenance releases, service packs, patches, and hotfix deployments.
- Align DevOps solutions with business and project needs and identify opportunities to improve delivery efficiency and reliability.
- Collaborate with development, QA, architecture, release management, and business stakeholders while ensuring compliance and software quality standards.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of experience in software configuration management, build engineering, and DevOps transformation initiatives.
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD methodologies, software release management, branching strategies, version control, and release governance.
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, GitLab, Jenkins, and Artifactory, including YAML-based pipeline design.
- Experience with NuGet, npm, Conan, automated build scripts, build agents, deployment automation, and release pipelines.
- Strong scripting capabilities using PowerShell, Batch Scripts, and Perl.
- Experience implementing static code analysis and quality gate solutions.
- Ability to migrate legacy configuration management and release processes to modern DevOps platforms.
- Preferred experience with IBM ClearCase and other legacy configuration management platforms.
- Preferred exposure to Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, Infrastructure as Code, Docker, Kubernetes, security scanning, vulnerability management, and DevSecOps.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, MCA, M.Tech, M.E., or a related discipline.
- Relevant Azure DevOps, AWS, GitLab, or related certifications are advantageous.
