Responsibilities
- Technically lead teams delivering network automation and orchestration products.
- Own functional and design specifications, code, and unit and integration test cases.
- Drive best-in-class engineering practices, including test-driven development and design principles.
- Develop epics, stories, and tasks while collaborating across teams for complete solution integration.
- Establish technical standards, mentor team members, and guide adherence to engineering best practices.
- Drive architectural decisions and technical implementations for scalable and maintainable solutions.
Requirements
- Complete product life-cycle experience is required, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in local and remote debugging, advanced data structures, IPC mechanisms, multithreading, network programming, and object-oriented development.
- Hands-on experience with microservices architecture, Docker containers, Kubernetes clusters, and Helm charts.
- Experience developing cloud applications and using YANG, UML, JSON, and related modeling tools.
- Strong coding and debugging experience with Java or Golang and proficiency with Linux.
- Experience with CI/CD, Jenkins pipelines, Git, databases, messaging services, webhooks, and WebSockets.
- Knowledge of OpenAPI, OpenConfig, NETCONF, streaming telemetry, gNMI, gRPC, XMPP, and L2/L3 networking protocols.
- Preferred qualifications include network orchestration and automation frameworks, scalable highly available distributed systems, technical team leadership, mentoring, containerized deployment architectures, telemetry, and streaming analytics.
