Base Salary

$106k - $169k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Act as a client-facing member of the Software Solutions Delivery Team.
  • Analyze customer IT architectures, scope technical projects, recommend system improvements, and participate in security evaluations and architecture review boards.
  • Manage technical projects remotely and at client sites while communicating progress to technical and non-technical leadership.
  • Identify integration opportunities between cloud and on-premises agency systems and Axon products, then recommend deployment plans.
  • Capture requirements, implement third-party solutions in development environments, assess integration feasibility, and document technical capabilities.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, sales, project, integration, development, DevOps, account management, and agency stakeholders to build, test, deploy, and support integrations.
  • Write code using API capabilities to optimize implementation tasks and automate repetitive activities such as camera management and dynamic data integration.
  • Ensure quality, productivity, service delivery, and customer satisfaction for Axon software deployments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree highly preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 4 years of experience analyzing and developing technical systems and software solutions.
  • Expert networking knowledge and experience managing technical projects, implementations, and integrations, including LAN/WAN, security, IP Video, and Video Management Systems.
  • Expert-level understanding of Linux frameworks and containerization platforms, with Docker preferred.
  • Advanced understanding of cloud technologies, software development packages, data management tools, IT business processes, architecture review boards, and IT security reviews.
  • Advanced hands-on experience with API structures and systems integration using REST and SOAP.
  • Advanced skills in SQL, Python, Java, and AWS and/or Azure.
  • Demonstrated enterprise software systems understanding and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Project management experience or PMI certification is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment and collaborate across departments.
  • Must pass a Criminal Justice Information Services background check and maintain CJIS clearance.
  • Ability to handle confidential and highly sensitive information.
