Base Salary
$87k - $157k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop web services, full-stack web applications, and persistence-layer implementations.
- Apply secure software development principles, clean coding techniques, fault-tolerant design, and SOLID coding practices.
- Use continuous integration and test automation processes, and help establish and enforce Test Driven Development practices.
- Collaborate with software, systems, information assurance, test, quality assurance, and other project team members.
- Help teams adopt appropriate engineering rigor and maintainable, efficient, reliable, understandable, and secure code.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent, with 4+ years of relevant experience; equivalent experience may substitute for the degree.
- Active Secret Clearance is required.
- Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript in a web-based environment.
- Experience with Scrum or another Agile environment.
- Experience with UI or development frameworks such as AngularJS, Ionic, GWT, SmartGWT, Qt, React, or Node.js.
- Experience with automated testing tools or technologies such as Selenium, Cucumber, and Gherkin, plus Test Driven Development.
- Preferred qualifications include web-services architecture, AWS, Git, GitHub, CI and DevOps tools, security scanning, build scripts, mobile development, Agile management tools, web server configuration, and database development.
- A DoD 8570-approved security certification, such as Security+, is required within 90 days after hire.
