Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead evaluation of emerging AI technologies and define enterprise adoption strategies.
- Direct complex NLP, predictive analytics, and applied AI initiatives across multiple business domains.
- Develop and deploy predictive models, algorithms, statistical techniques, NLP solutions, and Generative AI solutions using large healthcare datasets.
- Provide technical leadership from AI ideation through enterprise-scale production deployment.
- Establish standards and reusable frameworks for AI development, deployment, monitoring, evaluation, governance, documentation, and post-deployment optimization.
- Define evaluation strategies for ML and LLM solutions, including quality metrics, bias and safety checks, and performance monitoring.
- Conduct data cleansing, feature engineering, exploratory data analysis, statistical modeling, and predictive analysis.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs, metrics, dashboards, and reports that support decision-making.
- Advise senior leadership on AI strategy, predictive modeling results, and data-driven opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, PHI handling requirements, data privacy and security regulations, model governance, and documentation standards.
- Mentor Applied AI Scientists, Data Scientists, and technical teams through code reviews, technical guidance, and architecture recommendations.
- Evaluate Responsible AI practices, emerging healthcare AI regulations, and governance requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Eight years of experience in predictive analytics, data science, or a related field is required.
- Three years of healthcare industry experience is required.
- Three years of experience with cloud services and a modern data stack is required.
- Three years of experience developing and deploying NLP and Generative AI solutions in healthcare is required.
- Experience providing technical leadership, architecture guidance, and mentoring to scientific teams.
- Expert knowledge of Agentic AI, LLM architectures, prompt engineering, RAG, evaluation methodologies, and AI solution design.
- Advanced expertise in MLOps and LLMOps, including deployment, monitoring, experiment tracking, reproducibility, and governance.
- Advanced knowledge of model risk management, AI governance, Responsible AI, and healthcare AI regulations.
- Expertise in statistical learning, machine learning, predictive analytics, scientific computing, data manipulation, visualization, and SQL.
- Expertise designing document intelligence, OCR, and information extraction solutions.
- Expertise in AI solution architecture, API integration, and production-grade AI application deployment.
- Detailed knowledge of healthcare data, including claims, EMR, HIE, UM, demographic, and population data.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, critical-thinking, technical leadership, communication, presentation, influence, and program coordination skills.
Benefits
- Base salary range is $113,000.00-$197,700.00 annually, with potential eligibility for a company- and individual-performance bonus.
