Responsibilities
- Translate client business use cases and technical requirements into effective technical designs.
- Map requirements to solutions and communicate technical decisions to developers.
- Evaluate alternative solutions and select the best fit for client requirements.
- Define non-functional requirement guidelines and benchmarks for project implementation.
- Write and review architecture, framework, and high-level application design documents.
- Review architecture and designs for extensibility, scalability, security, design patterns, user experience, and other best practices.
- Develop overall solutions and define the technologies, patterns, and frameworks needed to implement them.
- Apply technology integration knowledge to project scenarios.
- Systematically analyze and resolve code and design review issues and justify technical decisions.
- Conduct proofs of concept to validate proposed designs and technologies.
- Architect, implement, and scale production GenAI and Agentic AI solutions on Azure or AWS.
- Build production-ready Python services, RAG and deep learning pipelines, FastAPI APIs, and database integrations.
Requirements
- 8+ years of total experience.
- Deep understanding of LLMs, including GPTs, Llama, Claude, Gemini, Qwen, Mistral, and BERT-family models, and Transformer architectures.
- Expert prompt-engineering skills and proven experience implementing RAG architectures and patterns.
- High proficiency in Python and AI/ML libraries such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, LangGraph, LangSmith, Hugging Face Transformers, Scikit-learn, and PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Strong experience with fine-tuning, distillation, model evaluation, and GenAI evaluation metrics including BLEU, ROUGE, perplexity, semantic similarity, and human evaluation.
- Experience with managed AI/ML services such as Azure Machine Learning Studio and AI Foundry, particularly for production GenAI deployments on Azure.
- Strong understanding of vector databases such as Weaviate and Neo4j.
- Experience building complex deep learning, computer vision, NLP, and GenAI pipelines.
- Ability to productionize AI systems on Azure or AWS with enterprise-grade reliability, performance, and scalability.
- Ability to build and expose APIs with FastAPI and integrate databases through an ORM such as SQLAlchemy or Tortoise ORM.
- Strong architecture, coding, testing, maintainability, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- At least one successfully delivered production GenAI or Agentic AI solution.
- Familiarity with Model Context Protocol and contributions to open-source GenAI projects.
- React or another JavaScript framework experience for user-facing interfaces and front-end integrations is preferred.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
