Responsibilities
- Lead technical conversations and help close large mid-market and enterprise deals.
- Provide technical consultation, thought leadership, and trusted-advisor support to prospects and customers.
- Create thought-leadership assets based on domain expertise and market trends.
- Communicate product gaps, bugs, and enhancement needs from go-to-market teams to product teams.
- Mentor lead and senior solution engineers on technical strategies and customer problem-solving approaches.
- Conduct technical sales presentations, solution demonstrations, proof-of-concept engagements, RFP/RFI responses, and technical workshops.
- Scope and ensure the success of proof-of-concepts.
- Collaborate with partners to develop joint solutions.
- Represent Freshworks at industry conferences and events.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in technical solution engineering, preferably in the ITIL/ITSM domain or SaaS/software product environments.
- Experience in a SaaS or technology product organization, with ITIL/ITSM methodologies and cloud-based infrastructure.
- Experience with complex sales cycles in mid-market and enterprise business segments.
- Strong senior customer-stakeholder communication skills, including with CxOs.
- Excellent presentation, demonstration, communication, and listening skills.
- Strong customer and solution orientation with an execution focus and sense of urgency.
- Additional European languages are advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-energy team environment.
