Base Salary
$75k - $156k/yr
Responsibilities
- Execute software engineering assignments with some oversight from program leadership or senior staff.
- Design algorithms using modern theory and established software practices.
- Analyze software designs to demonstrate performance and functionality.
- Develop and execute software tests against requirements.
- Prepare technical data, procedures, reports, drawings, manuals, and other documentation.
- Communicate with customers and stakeholders about requirements, designs, and deliverables.
- Identify task challenges, project technical risks, and mitigation strategies.
- Contribute to requirements development, propose solutions, and adapt to changing requirements.
- Recommend process or application modifications based on quantitative data or results.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field is required.
- Master's degree is preferred.
- Three to five years of experience in software engineering or a related field is required.
- Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
- Secret clearance is preferred.
- Ability to learn new programming languages and technologies quickly and collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
