Responsibilities

Design and develop software using applicable programming languages and frameworks.
Write, update, troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade software while ensuring program requirements are met.
Integrate software components and third-party programs.
Verify and deploy programs and systems, including software supporting mobile platforms.
Deploy and maintain APIs on AWS infrastructure.
Work directly with U.S. Army mission partners to develop Warfighter solutions.
Gather and evaluate user feedback and help prepare epics and features based on user needs.
Recommend and execute software improvements.
Create technical documentation for reference and reporting.

Active SECRET clearance.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
Minimum three years of demonstrated experience in a software development, software engineering, or similar role.
Must meet DoD 8570.01 certification requirements for Information Assurance Technology (IAT) Level II.
Previous government technology experience.
Experience deploying software with Agile development methodologies.
Experience with software design and development in a test-driven environment.
Cloud experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), including deploying and maintaining APIs on AWS infrastructure.
Proficiency or experience with .NET, .NET Core, C#, Java, or Python.
Experience using GitLab as a version control system.
Preferred: master’s degree, knowledge of the Army software development process and related technologies, consultant/client environment experience, and familiarity with FISMA, NIST, and the RMF process.

Remote position based in the United States.
Supports a U.S. Special Operations Command mission partner and U.S. Army mission.
Requires an active SECRET clearance and DoD IAT Level II certification compliance.
