Base Salary
$126k - $195k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop well-defined software features and components under the direction of senior engineers.
- Write clean, maintainable code with comprehensive unit tests and established coding standards.
- Contribute to AI-native features through prompt design assistance, API integration, and basic evaluation.
- Implement assigned features from design through development, testing, and deployment with guidance.
- Troubleshoot and debug development and staging issues and escalate complex problems.
- Apply secure coding practices, including responsible customer-data handling and AI safety considerations.
- Participate in code reviews, pair programming, design reviews, sprint planning, and knowledge sharing.
- Develop ServiceNow workflows, business rules, forms, dashboards, plugins, applications, and customizations using JavaScript and GlideScript.
- Learn and implement ServiceNow APIs, web services, integration patterns, data-model design, and query optimization.
- Participate in ServiceNow application maintenance, customer issue triage, bug fixing, support-ticket handling, and documentation.
- Communicate progress, blockers, technical challenges, and customer needs with customers and internal teams.
- Support junior teammates and newer developers by sharing knowledge.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2–5 years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in at least one of Python, Java, or JavaScript, with willingness to learn additional languages.
- Understanding of software engineering fundamentals including version control, testing, and debugging.
- Basic knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and modern web services.
- Understanding of AI/ML concepts; hands-on experience with LLMs or AI APIs is a plus.
- Prior ServiceNow platform experience or coursework is a plus.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, learning, and independent task-execution skills.

- Base pay is $125,700–$194,800, plus equity when applicable, variable or incentive compensation, and benefits.
