Responsibilities
- Identify opportunities to improve Search quality using advanced ML technologies.
- Build novel Search experiences, including natural-language query capabilities.
- Design and implement machine learning models and algorithms to improve search quality.
- Solve complex interactions across query understanding, knowledge understanding, and ranking components.
- Handle technical requirements, design, implementation, unit testing, and integration for software development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Five years of programming experience in Python or C++.
- Three years of experience with ML infrastructure, including model deployment, model evaluation, optimization, data processing, or debugging.
- Three years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products.
- One year of experience with software design and architecture.
- One year of experience with GenAI techniques or related concepts such as language modeling and computer vision.
- Preferred: experience launching and scaling user-facing, large-scale, production-quality systems.
- Preferred: experience with recommender systems and software development.
- Preferred: strong problem-solving and debugging skills, plus interest in machine learning, ML, NLP, and quality.
