Responsibilities
- Own projects end-to-end from initial idea through design, analysis, and implementation.
- Train, evaluate, and deploy machine learning models for business-critical problems.
- Explore model architectures, augment training data, improve evaluation methods and feedback signals, and identify optimization opportunities.
- Understand production systems and visualize, monitor, and optimize performance.
- Stay current with tools and research and collaborate with Google Research and DeepMind.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Five years of software development experience in C++ and Python.
- Three years of experience with deep learning, reinforcement learning, generative AI, or another machine learning specialization.
- Three years of experience with machine learning infrastructure, including model deployment, model evaluation, data processing, or debugging.
- Three years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products and one year of experience with software design and architecture.
- Preferred: master’s degree or PhD in computer science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: five years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: one year of experience in a technical leadership role.
- Preferred: experience developing accessible technologies and experience with machine learning, data science, statistics, natural language processing, or computer vision.
