Responsibilities
- Maintain, enhance, and support large-scale business-critical mainframe applications.
- Own application enhancements and complex L3 production support for online and batch processing environments.
- Analyze, debug, and resolve complex production incidents while identifying root causes and sustainable improvements.
- Collaborate with development, testing, infrastructure, business, and global teams to deliver reliable solutions.
- Contribute to modernization, continuous improvement, operational excellence, and legacy-system stability.
Requirements
- Strong expertise in COBOL, Natural, ADABAS, DB2, VSAM, CICS, JCL, and z/OS.
- More than one year of relevant work experience and a solid understanding of programming, software design, and software development principles.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex production incidents, diagnose problems, and identify long-term improvements.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, manage a range of tasks, and make informed decisions.
- Effective communication, stakeholder collaboration, accountability, and continuous-improvement skills.
