Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements, functional documents, and technical specifications.
- Create and maintain test plans, scenarios, cases, scripts, and steps.
- Perform manual functional, system, integration, regression, and acceptance testing.
- Support load and performance testing activities.
- Identify, log, track, report, and close defects using JIRA.
- Perform defect discovery, issue identification, root cause analysis, and application behavior validation.
- Maintain test documentation, tracking, logging, and reporting.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders while following SQA standards and quality processes.
- Develop familiarity with and transition toward test automation over time.
Requirements
- Strong manual testing knowledge, including SDLC, STLC, test design, test case execution, defect lifecycle management, regression testing, and acceptance testing.
- Experience using JIRA for defect tracking.
- Basic understanding of software architecture, system behavior, and program logic.
- Basic or hands-on exposure to automation tools such as Selenium/WebDriver is preferred.
- Knowledge of Java or Python is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, attention-to-detail, and continuous-learning skills.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
