Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain complex enterprise-scale graphical user interfaces.
- Migrate the Sigma application UI from Java Swing to React.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, backend engineers, and QA to deliver features end to end.
- Translate UI/UX designs into accessible, performant, production-ready implementations.
- Integrate front-end components with Java Spring Boot backend services and RESTful APIs.
- Optimize applications for speed, scalability, responsiveness, stability, and usability.
- Participate in and lead code reviews while promoting development best practices.
- Troubleshoot UI performance, stability, and usability issues.
- Stay current with emerging front-end technologies, frameworks, and industry trends.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software/computer engineering, or equivalent, is required.
- At least 5 years of professional experience developing graphical user interfaces for production systems is required.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and React is required.
- Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and modern web development standards is required.
- Hands-on experience consuming and integrating RESTful APIs is required.
- Strong understanding of asynchronous programming patterns is required.
- Familiarity with Java Spring Boot backend integrations is required.
- Proficiency with Git and modern version control workflows is required.
- Preferred qualifications include exposure to financial-services technologies and Java backend development experience or willingness to learn and contribute to backend services.
