Responsibilities
- Design and implement infrastructure and validation systems for data models within simulation platforms and application ecosystems.
- Build and scale applications and infrastructure supporting CNN use cases and evolving product needs.
- Contribute to technical planning, architecture, development, code reviews, deployment, debugging, and performance improvements.
- Mentor junior engineers through hands-on guidance, code reviews, and training initiatives.
- Provide technical leadership, communicate progress and risks, and collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and other stakeholders.
- Apply A/B testing, analytics, and experimentation tooling to support data-informed product decisions.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and use tools such as JIRA, GitHub, and Confluence.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- 6+ years of full-stack development and leadership experience with client/server technologies, modern technology stacks, data structures, and algorithms.
- 4–6 years of professional front-end development experience with modern JavaScript/ES6 and Node.js.
- Hands-on experience with AWS IAM, VPC, EC2, S3, EKS, Lambda, and Route53.
- Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases and infrastructure tools including Git, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, and CloudFormation.
- 4+ years of debugging and problem-solving experience and a strong foundation in architecture, distributed systems, design patterns, and software engineering fundamentals.
- At least 3 years of hands-on production experience improving site performance.
- Experience with A/B testing, analytics, or experimentation tooling.
- Python, Go, or Rust experience is a plus.
- Experience using AI development tools such as Cursor, Copilot, or Claude to improve development, code review, velocity, and code quality.
- Strong communication, ownership, organizational, collaboration, mentoring, and technical leadership skills.
