Responsibilities
- Author and execute automated test cases for complex computer systems and applications.
- Create and maintain test data and reusable test data libraries.
- Participate in sprint testing, test planning, test execution, and maintenance activities.
- Use quality engineering tools for test planning, test case authoring, execution, and defect tracking.
- Review requirements and software deliverables for testability, completeness, quality, and traceability.
- Perform unit, functional, non-functional, security, and data validation testing.
- Write SQL queries and conduct backend database validation.
- Report testing status, progress, and concerns to the QA Lead.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, and other IT team members.
Requirements
- Around 0–2 years of QA experience.
- Knowledge of Java, SQL, and scripting languages.
- Hands-on experience with automation testing technologies such as Selenium.
- Strong skills in test case creation and execution and the ability to assist with test plans and testing strategies.
- Understanding of product-based testing, testing methodologies, requirements analysis, relational database theory, multi-tiered application architecture, and cloud technologies.
- Ability to deconstruct complex systems, apply logical and analytical reasoning, and work effectively with team members.
- Strong written and verbal interpersonal communication skills.
