Responsibilities
- Analyze product requirements and design specifications to create test cases and scenarios.
- Execute manual, exploratory, regression, UI, API, and automated testing.
- Create, maintain, execute, and analyze automated test cases using testing frameworks and programming languages.
- Use AI tools for test-case generation, test-data creation, defect analysis, documentation, and test-gap identification while validating generated output.
- Record and track defects with reproduction steps and supporting evidence.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA team members to reproduce issues and provide testing feedback.
- Verify defect fixes and perform regression testing.
- Communicate testing results, risks, and findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience in software quality assurance, software testing, software development, or a related field.
- Working proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Understanding of the software development life cycle, software testing fundamentals, test types, defect lifecycle, and quality practices.
- Foundational knowledge of UI testing, API testing, test automation, and test-case design.
- Familiarity with approved AI tools and the ability to use them responsibly for testing, analysis, and documentation.
- Ability to learn new programming languages, testing tools, automation frameworks, and AI-enabled technologies.
- Strong communication, collaboration, deadline management, and basic problem-solving skills.
