Responsibilities
- Perform manual and black-box testing of Amazon Music features.
- Write, modify, and maintain high-quality test cases for new and existing features.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and maintain automation scripts by resolving stability issues.
- Create low-complexity automation scripts based on QA and development feasibility analysis.
- Reproduce product defects and script failures, identify and accurately report defects, and track issues through resolution.
- Learn feature requirements, identify test coverage gaps, and apply QA procedures, guidelines, and policies.
- Use QA software tools for testing, issue investigation, and data capture.
- Deep dive into issues, communicate with stakeholders, escalate problems, and provide status reports.
- Compare application features across versions and identify changes.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of non-internship professional software development testing experience.
- Experience scripting for test automation using Python, Perl, or Ruby.
- Good knowledge of language, vocabulary, grammar, and contextual information.
- Preferred: experience with API testing and mobile testing.
