Responsibilities
- Collaborate with developers and QA engineers to understand product requirements and develop comprehensive test plans.
- Design and implement automated test cases and scripts using tools and frameworks such as Java, TestNG, Playwright, and Appium.
- Execute tests, analyze results, and report defects using established bug-tracking systems.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on code testability and quality.
- Improve test automation infrastructure and processes to increase efficiency and reliability.
- Work with cross-functional teams to support timely delivery of high-quality software releases.
- Stay current with testing technologies and recommend improvements to testing practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong programming skills in Java or Python.
- Experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Appium, or Rest Assured.
- Knowledge of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Familiarity with Git and continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines.
- Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Preferred: experience with JMeter, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or Docker.
