Responsibilities
- Design and implement deployment pipelines around Citi’s centralized DevOps pipeline.
- Improve pipeline efficiency, reliability, and security while integrating automated quality gates and rollback mechanisms.
- Build, evolve, and maintain large-scale parallel compute infrastructure in AWS.
- Build and manage a resilient, scalable, secure, and cost-effective replica of the XiP platform in GCP.
- Evaluate, select, and integrate technologies with software development, central technology teams, and vendors.
- Participate in architecture reviews and proof-of-concept initiatives.
- Monitor platform health, performance, resource usage, and security, and perform maintenance, upgrades, and patching.
- Respond to operational incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
- Provide hands-on application and infrastructure support to XiP customers, including troubleshooting performance issues and outages.
- Document operational procedures and provide training and guidance to team members.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant DevOps experience working closely with an application development team.
- Extensive experience building cloud infrastructure in AWS, GCP, Azure, or another common public cloud.
- Experience delivering successful large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Ability to manage and deliver projects while handling competing priorities.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills and clear, concise written and verbal communication.
- Bachelor’s degree or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Master’s degree preferred.
