Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements, user stories, and functional specifications.
- Create and execute test cases, test scenarios, test scripts, and test plans.
- Perform functional, system integration, regression, web application, manual, and automated testing.
- Support user acceptance testing and validate ServiceNow workflows, forms, catalogs, and configurations.
- Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, clients, business users, technical teams, and stakeholders.
- Prepare test reports and maintain testing documentation.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and project discussions.
- Ensure delivered solutions meet business requirements and quality standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Two years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
- Experience testing web applications.
- Hands-on experience with manual and automated testing, including creating test cases and maintaining automated test scripts.
- Experience with at least one test automation tool or framework.
- Understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle and defect management processes.
- Experience writing test cases and scenarios and executing test plans.
- Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar bug tracking tools.
- Basic understanding of Agile methodology.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and English communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, business users, and technical teams.
- ServiceNow exposure, ITSM and ITIL knowledge, API testing with Postman or SoapUI, ServiceNow ATF experience, and ServiceNow CSA certification or willingness to pursue certification are preferred.
