Responsibilities
- Own architectural decisions and drive the technical evolution of the backend stack.
- Lead database and integration projects, including data modeling and migration strategies.
- Design and build secure, scalable, and resilient microservices and APIs.
- Define technical approaches for new features with internal stakeholders.
- Review code, mentor engineers, and provide technical guidance across the team.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience developing backend systems with Go.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, API design, distributed systems, and data modeling.
- Hands-on experience with coding agents and an open mindset toward AI-assisted software development.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- High ownership and ability to navigate ambiguous requirements and solve complex technical challenges.
- Experience mentoring engineers and providing technical leadership is valued; people management experience is a plus.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Docker-based deployments is a plus.
