Responsibilities
- Lead customer engagements as the technical owner for a delivery pod.
- Design and implement production-grade enterprise systems using JazzX’s platform.
- Build backend services, APIs, distributed systems, third-party integrations, data pipelines, and orchestration layers.
- Design and operate agentic workflows using LLMs, including prompt strategies, tool interfaces, control flows, guardrails, and observability.
- Lead customer POCs, pilots, production rollouts, troubleshooting, and end-to-end resolution of integration and system issues.
- Make architectural decisions balancing scalability, performance, security, reliability, and maintainability.
- Mentor engineers, provide technical direction, establish customer-facing engineering practices, and create reusable architectures and delivery standards.
- Partner with product, platform, research, engineering, IT, and customer stakeholders across the solution lifecycle.
Requirements
- 9+ years of professional software engineering experience building and operating production systems.
- Strong proficiency in Python with experience writing maintainable, well-tested code.
- Experience designing and building backend services, APIs, and distributed systems.
- Practical experience applying GenAI or LLM-based systems, such as RAG pipelines, agent workflows, or LLM-backed services, in real-world applications.
- Experience leading or owning technical delivery for customer-facing projects.
- Strong understanding of system reliability, observability, and operational best practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with engineering, product, and customer stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% for key customer engagements.
- Experience in regulated or policy-heavy domains, vector databases, semantic search, knowledge retrieval systems, shared libraries, internal platforms, reusable engineering components, startups, or early-stage product environments is preferred.
